Through the integration of numerous government systems, the new eTravel system is expected to make it easier for inbound visitors to complete papers, health declarations, and other data.

Ivan John Uy, secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), said in a statement on Tuesday that the eTravel system facilitates public interaction with the government by enabling appropriate government entities to use a single system.

To assist the various government agencies in implementing e-governance, President [Ferdinand R. Marcos] gave us, the DICT, the directive, according to Uy.

The eTravel system is a new contact tracing platform that gathers arrival information and acts as a health declaration checklist for inbound travelers. It is intended to replace the One Health Pass and e-Arrival card.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI), Bureau of Quarantine, Bureau of Customs, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Justice, and Department of Transportation collaborated with the DICT to design it.

Inbound travelers can register using the system at https://etravel.gov.ph/ by providing a personal profile, travel information, and a health statement.

After registering, each user will receive a distinct quick response (QR) code.

Three days prior to arrival in the Philippines, travelers must complete their registration.

The One Health Pass domain has been replaced with the eTravel system, which was inaugurated on Monday. Visitors to the former website are now forwarded to the eTravel website.

It will also house the electronic equivalent of the paper Arrival Card that visitors must present for immigration clearance while entering the Philippines.
