Prior to the holiday season, LPG prices increased.

Prior to the Christmas holidays, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices would rise, resulting in higher costs for consumers.

According to independent releases, Petron, Phoenix LPG, and Solane-branded LPG all upped their LPG rates by PHP2.25 per kilogram.

For a standard 11-kilogram LPG cylinder, this equated to increments of PHP24.75 to PHP24.97.

The cost of AutoLPG was also raised by PHP1.26 and PHP1.25 per liter, respectively, by Petron and Phoenix.

The fluctuation in domestic pricing is a reflection of this month’s LPG contract rates at the international level.
