Ilocos Norte province’s Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is encouraging company owners to benefit from free online coaching and mentorship sessions.

The Kapatid Mentor Me Program (KMMe) is open to people having at least a year of business operation and complete business registration documentation, according to Maricor Racela, senior trade industry development expert and trade promotions officer of DTI-Ilocos Norte.

She advised interested candidates to sign up for the program, which will be delivered online, by going to the nearest Negosyo Center in their locality.

The KMME program is a component of the Negosyo- Kapatid Project, which will assist MSMEs in scaling up their operations through ten weeks of one-on-one, module-based consultations and coaching sessions with business professionals. This will enable MSMEs to become globally competitive firms.

The program will enable mentees to study tactics on marketing, finance, human resource, and operation management, among others. This is similar to a “big brother-small brother” approach.

Before completing the program, mentees must also present their business development strategies during the eleventh week.

After completing the program, the MSMEs should be capable business owners with the proper mentality and business acumen who can continue and grow up their operations.

At least 11 batches of business owners have graduated from the KMMe program in the province since it started in that year.
