“Ang Pamana: Working PCOO” was the title of the seventh episode of the Laging Handa Dokyu television series, which featured the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) and the Duterte administration’s dedication to providing accurate news and information to the general public.

Martin M. Andanar, the Communications Secretary, was appointed to head the primary communications arm of the federal government in January 2016. As a result, the government’s platforms for providing the public with necessary information and updates on current events and occurrences inside the government have been simplified.

Andanar said that he put into practice what he had learned about conventional radio, media, and new media throughout his tenure to reform the PCOO and its associated agencies during his tenure.

He said that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte strongly supports the Mindanao Media Hub, which was officially launched on March 18 this year. Regions 10 (Northern Mindanao), 11 (Davao), 12 (Soccksargen), 13 (Caraga), and the BARMM will benefit from the building’s state-of-the-art amenities, which will act as a broadcasting center for the region.

As Duterte’s first Executive Order, he established the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act. This law guarantees that the general public has access to public records and transactions involving the federal government.

The FOI Project Management Office is headed by Atty. Michel Kristian Abalan, CESO II, an Undersecretary for Administration, Finance, and FOI who also serves as the office’s chief information officer.

Ablan estimates that they have received between 95,000 and nearly 100,000 Freedom of Information requests.

In accordance with the directives of Sec. Martin Andanar, the PCOO established the Project Management Office, which was tasked with overseeing the implementation of the Freedom of Information Act and training the libo-libo of the ating mga FOI officers who were trained in the appropriate administrative areas in order to better serve the general public.)”

The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS), which was established by the Office of the President in collaboration with the PCOO, was established to safeguard the lives, liberty, and security of media workers across the nation.

It was only under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte that the violence against media sectors was handled, according to PTFoMS Executive Director Undersecretary Joel Sy Egco.

A task force committed to protecting and upholding their rights and freedoms in the Philippines, he claims, is the only one of its kind operating in a democratic nation.

Laging Handa Dokyu 3.0 episode 7 aired on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. on PTV and IBC-13, and it was the seventh episode overall. Livestreaming of the event was also available on the PCOO’s Facebook page, as well as on other government-affiliated social media platforms.
