LPG prices are being slashed dramatically.
Consumers were greeted with decreased pricing of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the start of December, just in time for the Christmas season, with a big-time reversal for the commodity this month.
The price cut put an end to a five-month streak of LPG price increases.
Petron said it reduced LPG prices by PHP4.75 per kilogram and AutoLPG prices by PHP2.66 per liter starting at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Petron stated, “These reflect the worldwide contract price of LPG for the month of December.”
Starting on Wednesday, the price of Solane-branded LPG was reduced by PHP4.37 per kilogram.
For a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank, the price was reduced from PHP48.07 to PHP52.25 as a result of the price rollback.
