MANILA, Philippines — The meteorological bureau predicted warm weather with a potential of rain showers for the whole archipelago on Wednesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced in its 4 a.m. weather bulletin that no meteorological disturbance or low-pressure area (LPA) is expected to strike the country in the next three to five days.

“We can expect it to be warm and humid, especially until noon, due to the easterlies as the prevailing weather pattern,” PAGASA weather forecaster Ana Clauren stated.

In the afternoon or evening, rain and thunderstorms may occur for a brief duration.

“Don’t forget to carry an umbrella to protect yourself from the rain,” she said.

Meanwhile, temperatures in Metro Manila, the Kalayaan Islands, and Tuguegarao are expected to reach 33°C, with 32°C in Puerto Princesa and 31°C in Laoag.

The temperature will reach 33°C in Zamboanga and Davao, 32°C in Iloilo and Cebu, and 31°C in Tacloban.

Over northern Luzon, moderate breezes and moderate seas will continue to persist.

Winds will be light to moderate elsewhere, with modest to moderate seas.
