BBM-Sara to Muslim youth: May nanalo na!

CARMEN, North Cotabato – Bongbong Marcos, the presidential candidate, and Sara Duterte, the vice-presidential candidate, have already won the race for this segment of Muslim youth.

Florabel Sinempalan, 21, was among those who attended the crowded march in front of the municipal hall here on Monday morning with her companions.

Sinempalan stated that she will vote for BBM and Sara since she believes they both deserve to win.

“Alam ko po na si Marcos ay worthy siyang pangulo ng Pilipinas,” says the author (I know Marcos deserves to be the president of the Philippines). “I’m sure Sara Duterte would assist President Marcos in engaging more Filipinos in vital initiatives,” Sinempalan remarked, holding a banner that read, “BBM – Sara Duterte: Uwian na, May Nanalo na (Let’s go home, there are already winners)!”

Sinempalan, a nursing student, said she agrees with the UniTeam’s advocacy for improving education quality and attaining a peaceful life for all Filipinos, as Duterte emphasized in her address.

She also believes Marcos’ vow to create greater job prospects for her parents will benefit them.

“Alam ko po naga-focus siya sa agriculture for the farmers,” she said. “I know his concentration is agriculture for the farmers because my parents are farmers,” she added.

Sinempalan also expressed her wish that the two will work together to eliminate discrimination against Muslims.

“As a Muslim, I am confident that the UniTeam will assist Muslim Filipinos and people of other faiths in fostering respect.” The vast majority of Muslims face discrimination. “I know it will cease with the support of Bongbong and Sara Duterte, and Muslims would be treated similarly to others,” she stated.

Duterte and Marcos campaigned in North Cotabato, Maguindanao, and Sultan Kudarat provinces on Monday.

North Cotabato Vice Governor Emmylou Mendoza welcomed them in Carmen, Maguindanao Governor Bai Mariam Mangudadatu welcomed them in Buluan, and Sultan Kudarat Governor Suharto Mangudadatu welcomed them in Isulan.

Senators Robin Padilla, Win Gatchalian, Gibo Teodoro, Jinggoy Estrada, Migz Zubiri, and Mylah Roque, Harry Roque’s wife, were also present.
