MANILA – Despite the escalating “drone wars” (the popular term for remotely operated unmanned aerial photography gear) amongst presidential candidate frontrunners, Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao stated his campaign will focus on presenting his message to the poorest Filipinos.

“I know Manny Pacquiao’s followers, and I’m friends with the D-E class and the poor who merely wish for a better life.” They are the ones for whom we are fighting. Manny Pacquiao is, at the end of the day, for people who do not possess property or a source of income. That is why we go to rural places with a lot of impoverished people,” Pacquiao said in a press conference following a visit to the Manila districts of San Andres and Tondo on Monday.

Pacquiao has stated that if elected president, his primary objective will be to offer a modest but acceptable home for all Filipino families who are homeless or do not own a home.

On Tuesday, the senator’s entourage would go through Quezon City in motorcades.
