MANILA, Philippines — The weather agency predicted that the prevailing easterlies will bring warm and humid weather over the country, with scattered rainfall in certain locations on Thursday.

“The weather will be hot and humid, especially at noon. Rain showers are possible in the afternoon or evening “the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration’s Grace Castaneda remarked (PAGASA).

There are no weather disturbances that could harm the country, according to Castaneda.

The weather in Luzon will be pleasant, warm, and humid.

“Stay inside or keep outdoor activities to a minimum. Avoid direct sunlight and bring sun protection, such as hats and umbrellas, with you. To avoid the health concerns of direct sun exposure, use light clothing and drink enough water “Castaneda explained.
The temperature in Metro Manila is expected to hit 34 degrees Celsius, while temperatures in Laoag and Tuguegarao will reach 33 degrees Celsius.

Fairweather is expected throughout the Visayas and Mindanao, with occasional rains.

While the rains may only last a few hours, Castaneda emphasized that the public should take precautions to avoid flooding and landslides, especially during heavy thunderstorms.

The temperature in Zamboanga and Davao has reached 33 degrees Celsius, while Tacloban, Iloilo, and Cebu have reached 32 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, throughout northern Luzon, moderate to high winds and moderate to severe waves will continue to prevail.
