MANILA – Presidential contender Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos recently pledged that if he is elected in the May 9 elections, he will bring the economy to a much better position than it was before the pandemic.

Marcos has stated that his goal is to “get the government system up and running as soon as the new administration takes office and make it work to assure immediate economic recovery.”

“Lagi ko sinasabi na ang ambisyon ko ay dalhin ang Pilipinas hindi kung saan tayo nanggaling, yung kalagayan natin bago magkaroon ng pandemya, kundi pasikatin at lalo pang pasiglahin ang ating ekonomya,” he added

When asked how he plans to tackle the difficult challenge of rebuilding the country and improving the economy after the pandemic, Marcos replied he has a clear plan focused on job creation that will “repair the system and catapult our economy to greater heights.”
