Despite a decline in cases, QC and Manila vax drives are not slowing down.
MANILA – Vaccinations, including booster doses, are still being administered in Manila and Quezon City despite the drop in Covid-19 cases.
As of Tuesday, 2,448,359 people in Quezon City had received all of their vaccinations, totaling 5,746,972 first, second, and booster doses, including the single-dose Janssen shot.
336,587 children aged 5 to 17 have been vaccinated, with 835,283 receiving first and second booster doses.
As of 6 p.m. Monday in Manila, 3,443,457 Covid-19 vaccine doses had been administered.
A total of 1,786,641 people have been vaccinated, with 1,702,786 receiving the entire primary series.
140,890 minors aged 12 to 17 are fully vaccinated, with 50,622 receiving two doses in the 5-11 age group.
There are 547,017 booster shots in all.
The most recent Covid-19 tally from Quezon City, dated May 15, revealed just 101 active cases, while Manila City had only 24 current infections as of noon Tuesday.
