Due to monsoon breaks, the weather will be pleasant for the next three days.
MANILA, Philippines — The meteorological service predicted that sunny skies will prevail across the archipelago on Monday and that this would likely remain for the next three days.
“Within the Philippine Area of Responsibility, there are no low-pressure areas or weather disturbances. The country is currently experiencing monsoon breaks “The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASAweather )’s forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said in the agency’s 5 a.m. weather advisory.
The ridge of the high-pressure area (HPA) that stretches throughout the eastern half of Central and Southern Luzon “bars” the southwest monsoon from entering or affecting the country, he noted.
Despite the monsoon breaks (or gaps in rainfall events), Aurelio predicts isolated rains induced by localized thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening.
Meanwhile, light to moderate breezes will dominate the country, with modest to moderate seas.
