The Quezon City administration will undertake Covid-19 fast antigen tests on Bar examinees, staff, and volunteers to guarantee that the February 4 and 6 examination is not a super spreader event.

On Wednesday, a 20-man crew will administer the antigen test for the examinees at the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Human Kinetics gym, while staff and volunteers will get their turn the next day.

Of UP, one of the testing sites in the first Bar exam to be administered in numerous locations, there are 756 examinees and 350 personnel.

“We share the same goal with them,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court will furnish the test kits, while the QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit will oversee the testing process, according to preliminary agreements.

Anyone who tests positive for Covid-19 will be evaluated to see if they should be quarantined at home or in a facility.

On the two examination dates, the QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the QC Fire District will set up tents on the UP campus, while the Task Force for Transport and Traffic Management will surround the immediate area.

After some examinees and exam officials contracted Covid-19 and had to quarantine, the Supreme Court rescheduled the Bar exam for January 23 and 25.
