
The Russian embassy is on fire.
On Friday night, a fire broke out inside the Russian Embassy in Manila, which is located in posh Dasmarinas Village in Makati City. The damage is believed to be worth at least PHP100 million.
There were no recorded casualties.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
“On the evening of February 4, a major fire erupted in the Russian Embassy building in Manila. There have been no fatalities or injuries. Employees and members of their families were evacuated from the embassy “Following the incident, a statement was issued.
The fire erupted on the second level at 8:25 p.m. and quickly progressed to the second alarm.
According to records from the Bureau of Fire Protection, it was deemed under control at 11:38 p.m. and out at 2:10 a.m. Saturday.
