The 25 contestants for Mr. Tourism World have visited the town’s well-known attractions and displayed their artistic talents in a talent competition.

According to Vice Mayor of Bolinao Town Richard Celeste, the contestants for their talent competition were hosted here on Tuesday.

They’ve been to the Pacific Salt Farms, the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse, and the Balingasay River river tour, he said.

The finalists observed the Pacific Salt Farms’ traditional salt production process and the town’s iconic Cape Bolinao Lighthouse. The Balingasay River, the cleanest river in the area, is where they also dined on fresh fish delicacies.

According to Celeste, the finalists arrived in the town on January 29 for their three-day visit.

“Our tourism projects and places here have been featured in the presentations,” he continued.

Celeste voiced optimism about the town’s tourism business as a result of the candidates’ visit.

In this manner, he continued, “they were able to understand that Bolinao is in fact a tourist attraction.

Bolinao is renowned for its spotless white sand beach, crystal-clear river, historic sites, and top-notch resorts. In 2022, the town counted 642,603 visitors.

The Ballayon Arts Festival and the Mangunguna Festival 2023, according to Celeste, are the next festivities in their community.

Workshops, displays, and contests will be part of the Ballayon Arts Festival. The Mangunguna Festival, which includes a street dancing competition, is the main event; it’s comparable to our town fiesta, he said.

The Mangunguna Festival will take place from April 19 to 21, while the Ballayon Arts Festival will take place in February.
