Bullying among kids in Italy is expected to increase by 10% in 2021.
According to a survey, bullying incidents among Italian children rose by 10% in 2021 compared to 2020.
The Piepoli Institute and the MOIGE parenting group undertook a study on how kids use the internet.
According to the statistics released on Thursday, bullying victims increased from 44 percent in 2020 to 54 percent in 2021.
From 23% to 31%, the percentage of victims of cyberbullying climbed by 8%.
In both the physical and virtual worlds, bullying appears to hurt boys more than girls, the report added.
In actual life, 57 percent of boys and 50 percent of girls have both experienced bullying.
For the virtual world, the rates were 32 and 29 percent, respectively.
According to the study, 63 percent of minors used the Internet unsupervised while 22 percent spent more than five hours per day using electronic devices with an Internet connection.
