The Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH), a major socialized housing project under his administration, is scheduled to have its groundbreaking ceremony here at some point this month. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will preside over the event.

The site development of the housing project, including the scale models of the residential units, is nearly finished in preparation for the groundbreaking ceremony, according to Rodrigo Pagotaisidro, the head of the municipal government’s housing and land management division, who made the announcement on Tuesday.

According to Pagotaisidro, the self-contained community project known as “El Vinta Residencia” will include 6,400 residential units in eight 12-story structures and eight 14-story buildings on a 14.45-hectare land. It is situated in Barangay Boalan.

Each residential unit has two bedrooms, a living, dining, and a comfort room, and is 27 square meters in size. Furthermore, there will be three elevators in each of the residential towers.

The Boalan housing complex will offer services including convenience stores, laundromats, salons and barbershops, basketball courts, and parking lots, just like other high-rise residential buildings in the city.

All government workers who are able to make a monthly amortization payment of PHP3,800 through the Pag-IBIG Fund are eligible to apply for the housing project.

According to Pagotaisidro, 1,200 applications have been submitted for Boalan’s 4HP housing initiative.

The local government, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, Metro Stonerich Corp., a private developer, and Pag-IBIG Fund, a financing institution are working together on the project.
