PNP active cases have dropped to 1.8K after 320 recoveries.
With 320 fresh recoveries registered on Friday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to notice a decline in coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections among its employees.
The police agency claimed in its Covid-19 bulletin that this brought the total number of recovered infections to 45,909 out of a total of 47,897 since the pandemic began in 2020.
Despite the addition of 139 new cases, the number of active cases has dropped to 1,862 from 2,043 on Thursday.
The death toll has risen to 126.
Meanwhile, the overall number of fully vaccinated PNP personnel is estimated to be 96.85%, or 218,102 out of a total of 225,000, while those who still need a second Covid-19 shot are estimated to be 2.73 percent, or 6,150.
Unvaccinated personnel makes up 0.42 percent of the workforce or 943 people.
The number of people who had a third or booster shot has risen to 37.84 percent, or 82,524.
