MANILA – As a tribute to the late mother of presidential candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Aksyon Demokratiko candidates Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Dr. Willie Ong chose to begin their Visayas tour in Samar Island.

On Monday, they arrived in Calbayog and traveled across Eastern Samar, finishing the day at Catbalogan.

The municipality of Allen, the hometown of Domagoso’s late mother, Rosario, was included in the itinerary on Tuesday.

Domagoso said he saw his relatives for the first time during an ambush interview in the village of Lavezares on Tuesday, which was broadcast online.

If given the opportunity, Domagoso claimed he will continue the “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure initiative, which includes a bridge linking Luzon and Samar, the Philippines’ third largest and seventh most populous island.

According to him, the bridge will increase business transactions and economic movement, resulting in job prospects.
