Caraga recovers 17 Covid-19s

BUTUAN- From May 22 to 28, 17 new cases of coronavirus illness 2019 (Covid-19) were reported, according to DOH-13.

DOH-13 noted the recent amount of Covid-19 recoveries boosted the region’s total to 56,714.

24 additional Covid-19 cases were recorded last week, bringing the total to 58,940.

DOH-13 reported 25 current Covid-19 cases in Caraga Region as of Tuesday.

The government said none of the 24 new Covid-19 instances were severe or critical.

Agusan del Sur (4), Agusan del Norte (1), Surigao del Norte (4), Cabadbaran City (3), Bayugan City (1), and Butuan City (1) reported new cases (11).

Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Tandag, Bislig, and Surigao had no Covi-19 cases last week, according to DOH-13.

Last week’s six deaths raise the overall number of Covid-19-related deaths to 2,201.
