Residents of Ilocos Norte are encouraged to utilize the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels (LPOW) program, which is this week being introduced in underserved regions if they would like to utilize the services provided by the government-run Pag-IBIG Fund.

According to acting branch manager Ma. Evangeline Baga of the Pag-IBIG Fund Ilocos Norte branch in San Nicolas town, “The Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels is a vehicle that will be deployed in far-flung places that are underserved, or it has a weak internet connection.”

The LPOW will be in the province from August 8 to August 12, with stops at the Dingras Civic Center, Sarrat Public Market (north of the river), Bacarra Old Public Market, Batac City Public Market, and beside the Bangui Municipal Hall on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Baga said in her letter to the mayors, “This forms part of our proactive strategy in supporting Filipino employees towards membership savings and house financing,” asking them to help spread the word to their residents about the agency’s mobile outreach programs.

Applications for multi-purpose loans, retirement or death claims, Modified Pag-IBIG II Savings, loyalty card plus, registration, and inquiries about additional programs are only a few of the essential services provided.
