On Tuesday, Vice Governors from all across the country were urged to assist President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s administration in bringing about change and progress in the nation.

At the LGVP officials’ swearing-in ceremony, which took place in the President’s Hall of Malacanang Palace, Marcos made the announcement.

Marcos acknowledged the vice governors’ function as change-makers in a statement that was published on his official Facebook page.

I pray that each of you would work with our administration to bring about the transformation we want for the nation, Marcos remarked. “Dalangin ko na ang bawat isa ay makikipagtulungan sa ating administrasyon upang makamit ang pagbabagong hangad natin para sa bansa,” he added.

In addition, Marcos complimented the LGVP members for their commitment to serving the people with integrity.

He said, “We are extremely grateful to the vice governors who are members of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines for their vow to become an honest public servants in their respective provinces. “Lubos ang ating pasasalamat sa mga bise gobernador na kasapi ng League of Vice Governors of the Philippines na nanumpang sila’y magiging tapat na lingkod-bay

Vice governors from all 81 of the country’s provinces make up the LGVP.

On August 11, Marcos met with representatives of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) to discuss ways to maintain a steady supply of food in the nation.

Marcos stated in his discussion with LPP that better local government coordination with the federal government is crucial to ensuring food security.

He emphasized the necessity of developing plans for the provinces’ agricultural cycles, yields, soil issues, and fertilizer usage.
